THE COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE
Foundation Food has its roots in a group of community organisations who came together to respond to the COVID- 19 crisis...
...to ensure that food and essentials continued to flow to the Roebourne community despite mass grocery shortages and potential extended lock downs faced by many communities during the pandemic.
Today, representatives of those organisations continue to guide and support the project, helping to tweak the pilot model and identifying further opportunities for collaboration.
Those organisations are:
Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation
Yaandina Community Services
Empowering People in Communities (EPIC)
Onetree Community Services
Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation
